After winning LMA Most Outstanding Leadership Award for Community Engagement in Nigeria and Eminent Consultant of the year award in Ghana recently, the Enthusiastic Financial Literacy Advocate & Educator and the Executive Director for Center for Financial Literacy Education (CFLE Africa), Mr. Peter Kwadwo Asare Nyarko has been crowned Ghana’s Social Entrepreneur of the year at this year’s Ghana Startup Week – Young Entrepreneur Awards.
Ghana Startup Network and its affiliate partners including Ghana Investments Promotion Centre (GIPC), National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Project (NEIP), Ghana Digital Centres Limited, Ghana Fintech and Payments Association, Venture Capital Ghana, Ghana Enterprises Agency and many others honored young entrepreneurs who are doing exceptionally great in their various endeavors during the 6th Edition of Ghana Startup Week on the theme; Collaborate, Innovate and Invest for greater impact.
Young Entrepreneur Awards was held on the 18th of November, 2022 to climax the week and to celebrate young people doing great and amazing stuff.
Mr. Peter Kwadwo Asare Nyarko and his non-profit social organization, Center for Financial Literacy Education (CFLE Africa) is significantly improving financial awareness and financial literacy education in Ghana and across Africa. Over the years, Peter and his team have developed and promoted financial literacy skills to students, young professionals, families, and the working communities. They have reached out to market communities, rural communities and the disabled and underprivileged community.
Peter and CFLE Africa are the Lead Ambassadors for The Improving Financial Awareness and Financial Literacy Movement in Ghana which is build around uniting organizations, institutions, and all concerned parties to channel their community resources into improving financial awareness and financial literacy education. The Movement is built around two strategic campaign venues, April being celebrated as Financial Literacy Month Campaign, and six months later, October being celebrated as Estate and Gift Planning Awareness Month Campaign.
Peter is a passionate social entrepreneur who is changing life, shaping society with his enthusiasm, energy, wisdom, knowledge and leadership qualities.
