Dr. Konadu Apraku sends goodwill message to Black Stars ahead of World Cup

Presidential Aspirant hopeful on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Dr Kofi Konadu Apraku has urged the senior men’s national football team, the Black Stars, to work together as team to raise the flag of Ghana high at the Qatar 2022 world cup.

Although Ghana is ranked last among all 32 qualified countries vying for the coveted trophy, he advised the Black Stars to be strong and play as team.

“I wish the playing body the very best as they lace up their boots to do battle on the world stage ” he said.

The former ECOWAS Commissioner for Macroeconomic Policy mentioned the players and coaches should intensify their efforts, so that they would win their matches” at the world cup.

Africa will be represented by Ghana, Cameroon, Morocco, Tunisia and Senegal at the global showpiece

Meanwhile, Ghana are in Group H alongside Portugal, Asian giants South Korea and Uruguay.
