Black Stars captain Andre Ayew has donated food to 200 needy Muslims to assist them get through the fast in a touching act of kindness and compassion.
The recipients received a bag of rice and a gallon of cooking oil each. They were struggling to make ends meet during the month of Ramadan.
Abdul Razak, a.k.a. DJ Carlos, a friend of Ayew’s made the contribution on his behalf on Wednesday, April 12 at Tamale Jubilee Park.

Ayew has previously shown that he is committed to aiding the less disadvantaged members of his society. He gave Ghanaians sanitizers, nose masks, and veronica buckets during the Covid pandemic to aid in their self-defense against the infection.
The recipients of the food contribution were obviously touched by Andre Ayew’s generosity and expressed their appreciation through prayer, pleading with God to keep the midfielder and his family in His blessings.
The public, who sees Andre Ayew as an inspiration and a role model, has likewise praised and given positive attention to the act of charity.
