DopeNation, a musical duo, has revealed that they were instrumental in the mixing of Mr. Drew’s 2020 smash song “This Year.“
The group lamented the general lack of respect for artists and their creations, claiming that this was the cause of people’s potential ignorance of the fact that they were substantially responsible for the creation of a few well-known songs.
DopeNation said in an interview with the TV personality and former Miss Malaika winner Berla Mundi that they had been instrumental in the current introduction of bone-crunching music.
DopeNation explained to Berla Mundi, “We wrote a song two years ago, and an artist came to the studio with a song, had the idea, had some notes, and was [guided to] break it this way, sing this.

It [the song] was produced by Willisbeatz, but DopeNation happened to do the mixing, and then Kaywa did the mastering at the end, and the title [of the song] is This Year.
The trio acknowledged that there have been times when they have neglected their own music and instead concentrated on elevating others.
“We took breaks from making music for ourselves to encourage others, and there was a time when we even took breaks for Dancegod.” Although it was DopeNation in DanceGod Lloyd and Afrobeatz were conducting interviews there.
The twin brothers’ trio is presently on tour to support the release of their new single, “CLAP.”
