Experience The Largest Concert In Ghana’s History According Chance The Rapper – Blackstar Line Festival

The first Blackstar Line Festival, which took place in January of this year, according to renowned American rapper ‘Chance the Rapper’, was the largest concert ever hosted in Ghana.

The Grammy Award winner claimed that the concert performances by artists like Erykah Badu, T Pain, Vic Mensah, and Sarkodie, among many others, were wonderful while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The Black Star Line Fest was spectacular and a huge success. The largest concert in Ghanaian history, attended by 52,000 people, was much more in-depth than any attempt at a festival.

“It was very successful, the Black Star Line Fest was magical. 52,000 people showed up, the largest concert in the history of Ghana and it was way deeper than trying to do a festival in Ghana.

“It was an opportunity for Black people from around the world to get together and commune safely and like have some good music,” he stated.

The No Problem artist claimed that future renditions of the free performance would also be held in Kingston, Jamaica, and other locations across the world.

“I am actually looking to do it again in January, myself and Vic Mensa, looking to do it again, we are actually thinking about hosting the next one in Kingston, Jamaica.

“We are still working it out in our head and we love the city of Accra, Ghana, and West Africa as a whole and we want to just continue to create community spaces and not make it such like stagnant thing so we are just looking any country that wants to host us,” he noted.

Chance Erykah Badu, Dave Chappelle, T-Pain, Jeremih, Sarkodie, Tobe Nwigwe, Asakaa Boys, and M. anifest performed at the Independence Square performance that served as the opening act for The Rapper and Vic Mensa’s debut Black Star Line festival.
