Following yesterday’s match between Ghana and Angola in Kumasi, Asamoah Gyan, a former Black Stars captain, was seen giving Antoine Semenyo advice.

The AFC Bournemouth attacker came on for Ghana in the second half of yesterday’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament qualifier game. In the 69th minute, he came in to replace Inaki Williams.

He scored from close range late in the contest to give the Black Stars an important victory of 1-0.

Overjoyed, Antoine Semenyo posted a photo of himself celebrating the goal on his official Instagram account along with a comment. ‘The Scenes!’ God truly acted, and we are eternally grateful.

On June 1, 2022, the Ghana national team defeated Madagascar 3-0 to go to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. This was Antoine Semenyo’s first game with the squad. Semenyo was included to Ghana’s 26-man roster for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar on November 14, 2022.

On March 27, the Ghanaian Black Stars will go for Angola to play the rematch of the Group E match. After three games, Ghana has 7 points in the group. In the other group match, Madagascar is defeated by Central African Republic 3-0.
