Chris Hughton, the manager of the Black Stars, has declared that rather than placing Mohammed Kudus in his ideal position, he will use Mohamed Kudus to establish the team’s ideal balance.
There have been questions about how the Ajax player should be used by the Black Stars in order for him to carry over his performance at the club level to the squad.
During his first press conference, Hughton acknowledged Kudus’ versatility but insisted that finding the correct balance for the club was his main priority.
“With regards to (Mohammed Kudus), he is a player that can play in numerous positions. Everybody can have an opinion on his best position. For me, it’s just about getting the right balance,” he stated.

Mohamed Kudus led the Black Stars in scoring with two goals and one assist in three games during the World Cup.
At the World Cup, he played on the wings and behind the striker, in contrast to his time at Ajax, when he primarily wore a false number 9.
Since Alfred Schredurer left, the 22-year-old has played in attacking roles in recent games.
Kudus has maintained his scoring form, increasing his league total to 11 goals despite the change in positions.
He has 20 goals overall this season for club and country and 17 goals for Ajax in all competitions.
