The Assin South Police are currently holding Kofi Anokye, a 30-year-old fetish priest, in connection with the disappearance of Emmanuel Kwaku Amoah alias Vision, an Okada rider.

According to information acquired, Emmanuel’s family members and other Assin OtabilKrom residents at Assin South were responsible for the suspect’s arrest and handover to the police.

This came about after they discovered a buried body in their backyard along with the suspect’s motorcycle, which belonged to the missing Okada rider.

However, further burned human-like pieces were discovered during the police inquiry. The suspect claimed the buried body was that of a goat that he used for rituals.

The police obtained samples from the corpse, which they then transferred to Accra for a forensic examination.

Emmanuel, 16, recently graduated from junior high school (JHS), and while he awaited his test results, he worked as an Okada rider.
