The rumor that the driver involved in his daughter’s death has been charged has been refuted by Nana Opoku Kwarteng, the late dancehall star Ebony Reigns’ father.
Over the weekend, a few news websites stated that Okoh Pinehas Chartey, the driver, had been charged with the death of the late Ebony.
In a phone chat with Emmanuel Agyeman (Braa Emma) on the Onua FM Anigye Mmre entertainment show, Nana Opoku Kwarteng responded to the news by refuting the claim. Additionally, Ebony’s dad said that the matter has not yet been set up before the court.
He stated, “I have not heard anything of the such, and the matter has not yet been brought before a court.
Ebony’s father further asserts that the motorist was operating without a valid license at the time of the collision. Nothing, though has been done about it.
“Some time back, radio personality Adakabre Frimpong Manso told me that the guy was driving without a driver’s license, and I have not heard anything concerning that development,” he concluded.
Ghanaian dancehall/Afrobeats musician Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, also known as Ebony Reigns on stage, is well-known for her hit songs Poison, Maame Hwe, Kupe, and other songs. Bullet, previously of Ruff n’ Smooth fame, found her.
