Great Ampong, a gospel artist, has abruptly changed his position after earlier assuring Ghanaians that his song “Onyame Akatua” was not a dig at the late Daddy Lumba.
Remember how Great Ampong firmly asserted that his song “Onyame Akatua” is a response to Daddy Lumba’s diss song “Ofon na di nsem fon” in an interview with Nyansaboakwa on Happy FM.
According to Great Ampong, a member of Daddy Lumba’s camp offered him the juicy information that the singer of the hit song “Theresa” had written a song about him.
So when the song was released and the words were pointed directly at him, he wasn’t shocked.
In a Power FM interview this morning, Great Ampong indicated that, contrary to what he had said on Happy FM, his song “Onyame Akatua” is not a diss at Daddy Lumba.
It’s obvious that someone in a position of authority has told Great Ampong that his dispute with Daddy Lumba isn’t going to be worth it in the long run.
The true diss song, according to Great Ampong, has not yet been released and is not the one that was just released under the name “Onyame Akatua.”
Everyone is aware of how the conflict between Daddy Lumba and Great Ampong began.
After the release of their collaborative music album called “Hossana,” the gospel singer, Great Ampong alleges that the legendary Highlife performer betrayed him.
